A specialist service providing focussed counselling, training and emotional wellbeing support in Primary and Secondary schools.
I'm OK, You're OK is a Social Enterprise finding new ways to bring much needed wellbeing support to more people.
Ignition! uses a combination of coaching, training, conversation and exploration to empower young people to build confidence, boost self worth and to provide vision and direction when choosing options and career ideas.
Ignition! has been created to ensure that young people know that it doesn’t matter where your life began, how your life has unfolded, or where you currently are, it matters that you discover who you are. Not your name and your labels but who you really are, what you are naturally gifted and talented at, acknowledge what you are naturally not so good at and discover the Fuel that gives your life energy and meaning.
Inspiring your pupils and staff to create a better, kinder world!
Your pupils will learn how to re-examine their choices, consciously choosing kindness in their interactions with fellow pupils as well as staff to build positive, long-lasting relationships. Together, we can make education a kinder place for all!
In a world of increasing intolerance – share a little kindness and give a lot of love.
What would change if your whole school prioritised and practised mental and emotional wellbeing everyday?…
…If you chose to embed moments of settling, reflection and kindness into your curriculum?
…If instead of worrying about supporting the mental and emotional health of your children and staff,
you felt confident because you were doing it.
…If your children and staff were well-equipped to notice and nurture their own well-being needs and were
empowered to take responsible action to help themselves?
…If you’re anxious, stressed and unhappy children (and families) had strategies that worked for them?
…If your staff felt less pressure, more confidence and a deeper connection with pupils on how to
communicate and manage mental and emotional health issues?
…If more children recognised their own barriers to learning and chose to overcome them?
…If you influenced positive well-being for life
…If you ALL had a fully equipped toolbox of tools and strategies to use
that help you when you’re stressed, tired, anxious or frustrated? (Yes, teachers too!)
Promoting happiness in the classroom.
Support, resources and training.
Good mental health is an issue for all of us. While it is common to think that we should offer interventions to those who present with obvious needs, the fact is that we all benefit from being involved in activities that develop positive coping strategies and promote meaningful, respectful relationships – staff and pupils alike!

Mental health is so important, especially during these unsettling times. ❤️
We have been successfully running children’s mindfulness classes and school training/well-being days for over 3 years; our CEO is also a qualified primary school teacher, freelance author and mindfulness teacher. ?
To support the mental heath of children and teachers, we have designed and written over 50 mindfulness sessions, along with lesson plans. The sessions cover such topics as anxiety, dealing with emotions, anger and more are added regularly . There is also a section on staff CPD.
Sessions last from 2- 20 minutes, so you can then choose when to incorporate them into your day. There is something for all age children in clear sections.
Let’s look after our minds and each other.

Improve self-confidence, resilience and emotional intelligence for pupils and staff in your school
The Department for Education recognises the direct link between positive mental health in schools and successful educational outcomes; the Mental Health Award for Schools builds on this link and provides a framework for educational institutions to evidence policies and initiatives that work towards improving emotional health and wellbeing for both staff and pupils.
The award ensures schools are using evidence-based approaches that align to professional and government guidelines. Utilising a developmental framework, which allows schools to evaluate current mental health practices, identify gaps, develop and strengthen these and work towards building an emotionally healthier environment. Through this process, schools commit to making mental health a strategic priority and developing a positive culture that promotes mental well-being for everyone.

The aim of Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP) is to bring mindfulness to young people and those who care for them in order to advance their wellbeing and resilience.
MiSP was established in 2009 as a not-for-profit organisation and is in the process of becoming a charity. It develops specialist, age appropriate mindfulness curricula and materials and trains qualified adults to deliver them to young people, primarily in educational settings.
MiSP curricula are taught in a wide range of educational contexts, from clinical settings and pupil-referral units to primary and secondary schools in both the maintained and independent sectors across the UK and overseas.
Once a charity, MiSP hopes to bring these programs to schools working in disadvantaged areas and on limited budgets that might not otherwise be able to access them.
MiSP offers continued support to its trained teachers through its Teacher Network which includes :
• access to all the up-to-date curriculum materials
• technical support
• support and advice from MiSP trainers
•‘Reconnect’ days allowing MiSP trainers and other teachers to meet and share good practice
• forums allowing teachers to network with each other
• inclusion on teacher maps on the MiSPwebsite
• publicity advice and materials for self-employed trainers
